The HoT API is almost here!

It’s been a long time since our last entry! We’ve been working hard on a new offering, one that we feel will have the greatest impact on our little corner of the tech universe. For many decades, haptics has been a ‘feature’ for a given product, whether it’s the smartphone, the game controller, or a wearable. With vring, we introduced the world’s first haptic product, physical sensations not as an addition or add-on, but as the offering itself.

At the end of May 2024, we will formally offer an SDK for the underlying API, called the “Haptics of Things” API. By licensing the API with this powerful set of developer code and documentation, every product and service currently utilizing the internet will have the means to add a new channel of information through touch. Starting with vring as the intra-personal messaging corner of the this new haptic channel, we simply can’t wait to explore all of the other dimensions of connectivity with the HoT API!
